Improved Outer Tactical Vest, or IOTV. BCS has designed three carrier versions to support the IOTV body armor inserts. The three versions are ; LBAV IOTV, Molle IOTV and Cumber IOTV. The LBAV version is a low profile carrier system. The Molle version has webbing on the front and back with drag handle.This version has two waist strap configurations. The cumber version has molle and an external cumber. All three versions do have the attachment points for armor accessories such as, groin protector, Yoke/collar, lower-back protector and DAPS. Hard plates -SAPI, ESAPI and XSAPI are supported and secured with internal pockets and adjustable webbing.. The Improved Outer Tactical Vest, or IOTV. SAPI pockets available in 10x12 or 11x14. Attachment webbing points also allow the attachment of accessories such as the groin protector,Deltoid DAP, collar and throat protector. The carrier was designed to provide maximum amount of ballistic protection and increase range of motion for the upper body. The front carrier has an internal support pocket to keep both soft inserts correctly over lapped to prevent insert movement.
