Improved Outer Tactical Vest, or IOTV. BCS has designed three carrier versions to support the IOTV body armor inserts. The three versions are ; LBAV IOTV, Molle IOTV and Cumber IOTV. The LBAV version is a low profile carrier system. The Molle version has webbing on the front and back with drag handle.This version has two waist strap configurations. The cumber version has molle and an external cumber. All three versions do have the attachment points for armor accessories such as, groin protector, Yoke/collar, lower-back protector and DAPS. Hard plates -SAPI, ESAPI and XSAPI are supported and secured with internal pockets and adjustable webbing.. The Improved Outer Tactical Vest, or IOTV. The BCS I IOTV carrier line allows the individual to use military issue armor in a more stream line carrier system.
